Finished a hat for Miss B today. She seems to love it and has gone off to nursery this afternoon wearing it (I just hope it comes back and she doesn't trade it for a Peppa Pig clip !)
The wool is a Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino in soft red. My mother is a potter and made the button which I think looks great. Its the first time I've tried this lacey pattern too and I'm loving it.
Also I must tell you about my new labels from Moo printing. I'm so pleased with them that I took a photo of my most recent order which is heading off to America. Great huh?
Your new labels are great. It all looks very professional and well presented. I think you've got a real touch for that, its something I find quite hard and am trying to improve.
ReplyDeleteThe hat is fantastic and I think you're right about the button. It finishes it perfectly. I'm always worrying about my kids swapping or losing things that have been made for them. Recently I had persuaded my mother-in-law to make a jumper for Islay knitted with cotton (instead of acrylic which is her usual and not what I like) - first time Islay wore it was at nursery and it hasn't been seen since. Ooops!
Very cute hat, and cute smiling face! I love baby cashmerino - so soft!
